Woodstock and its licensing company Epic Rights looked to develop and execute a series of designs, patterns and treatments to celebrate the spirit and movement that defined an era. Their team looked to us to create a licensing set that could be sent to potential partners to create epic swag for the grooviest concert in history.

THE PROCESS
As lead designer, my task was to research, develop, design and oversee creative direction. Initial research started in history, then moved to fashion and music, regarding Woodstock’s vast impact. Keeping the brand’s heritage at the forefront of the process allowed the team to create fresh takes on established looks and create some new styles ourselves.
Upon completion of the creative, a comprehensive licensing and style guide was created to ensure consistency in branding and identity across print, web, and fashion. Here is a look at some of the assets created while working on the project.
