Visual Applications
Created before the states were even united, this organization (then headed by Benjamin Franklin) traveled miles over uncertain ground to deliver messages and packages to its recipients. Throughout the decades, it developed from a small group to a rough and tumble organization to the massive international service that it is today.
The team was tasked with celebrating the USPS during four specific eras: Foundation (Post Office of today), Pony Express, Air Mail (c 1919) and Vintage (50s-70s). Below you will see an array of designs, patterns, marks and graphic directions that visually support the USPS brand through all of its phases.
